GoodHood is a Singapore-based mobile app that aims to foster community spirit by giving users in a particular neighbourhood a platform to chit chat, make requests for help, or offer a helping hand. Created by tech entrepreneur Nigel Teo, the app is free for all to use, and also features a marketplace where people can buy and sell goods and services.

#MayTwentyAko
#MayTwentyAko is a youth-led initiative raising funds by asking for the smallest denomination of notes in the Philippine currency – 20 pesos (US$0.39) - to help communities in need. May Twenty Ako means ‘I have 20 pesos’ in Tagalog. They have received overwhelming support from the public, and were not only able to raise their initial goal of 2,000 pesos (US$39.75) to buy and distribute hand sanitisers, but were also able to channel the additional donations to purchasing food, drinks, canned goods, personal protective equipment (PPE) and hygiene kits, consisting of liquid soaps and hand sanitisers.
SilverGood
SilverGood is a volunteer-run online community on Facebook that conducts weekly enrichment activities for the elderly like exercise, music, singing, cooking, as well as arts and crafts, amongst others. It was started in response to the elderly in Singapore having their physical and social lives limited by COVID-19, affecting their ability to stay active and engaged.
MODA
Malaysian Official Designers’ Association (MODA) is a non profit that nurtures, develops and leads the Malaysian fashion industry through creative influence and collaboration. In March 2020, Melinda Looi, president of MODA, and her fellow designers raised funds to buy material to sew PPE for Malaysia’s frontline medical workers, who were in urgent need of PPE in their fight against COVID-19.

Started by Singaporean social entrepreneur Delane Lim, Operation Roof Up, or #OpsRoofUp, is a community response to COVID-19, with the objective of providing food to vulnerable groups in Singapore from lower-income households, or unable to leave their homes due to being elderly or physically unwell.
