Its initiatives range from breeding and rescuing, to education and culture-based conservation programmes.

Manas Maozigendri Ecotourism Society

Manas Maozigendri Ecotourism Society (MMES) is a community based wildlife conservation NGO at Manas National Park in Assam, India. Established in 2003, to counter the poaching that had ravaged their wildlife, MMES has not just turned ex-poachers into protectors, they have also established a sustainable and renowned eco-tourism model that has brought positive impact to the local indigenous Boro community as well as Manas’s resident wildlife like the Greater One-horned Rhino.

Fortitude Culina is a social enterprise that aims to offer fair employment opportunities and career advancement for the visually-impaired. It does this through training and the use of assistive technology to empower their visually-impaired chefs to master and excel in the culinary arts. They want to open a cafe in the near future.

Inclus is a social enterprise creating an inclusive society for people with disabilities through empowering and enabling employers to employ people with disabilities sustainably so that they can achieve gainful employment and independent living.

KPS2K

KPS2K, or Kelompok Perempuan dan Sumber-sumber Kehidupan, is an NGO in Indonesia, that seeks to engage women and girls in rural communities on gender inequality, and help them develop the awareness and skills needed to advocate for their rights. It runs a programme called Sekolah Perempuan, which educates women on the issue through interactive activities. It has supported some 1,300 women and girls since its inception.

We Hear You

We Hear You is a free support group in Mumbai, India, that provides a space for those who have lost a loved one to suicide to grieve and heal together. It was started by a group of friends motivated by their own experiences with loss, who also founded Safe Space India, a social enterprise that runs programmes to educate the public on mental health and suicide prevention.
