Komunitas Peduli Skizofrenia Indonesia (KPSI)
Komunitas Peduli Skizofrenia Indonesia (KPSI), or Indonesia Community Care for Schizophrenia, was started in 2007 by Bagus Utomo to provide advice and assistance to people with schizophrenia and their families. The movement brings together patients, caregivers, doctors, and survivors, who offer support and solace through shared experiences, knowledge and learning. KPSI is run by volunteers and organises psychosocial consultations, creative therapy sessions and social activities.
Baon Para sa Basuhero
Started in 2020 as a response to the growing pandemic, Baon Para sa Basuhero is an online fundraising initiative that provides food aid and personal protective equipment to door-to-door waste collectors, informal waste collectors and their families living in or near landfills and dumpsites within Metro Manila. In the Philippines, there are door-to-door waste collectors, and informal waste collectors who live in or near landfills and dumpsites segregating the junk. To date, they have served over 2,300 beneficiaries and the numbers continue to grow.
Impulse NGO Network
Based in northeast India, Impulse NGO Network is an anti-human trafficking non-profit, working across borders and agencies to rescue those who have been trafficked and helping them navigate the road to recovery and reintegration. Its livelihood arm, Impulse Social Enterprises, addresses the root causes of trafficking by creating financial opportunities for rural communities in the form of weaving projects. To date, Impulse has supported over 70,000 survivors, while its livelihood projects have benefited over 30,000 women.
